Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the NT Printing website and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
NT Printing operates from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and serves customers Canada-wide.
Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Submit artwork that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Submit hateful, defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content for printing
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated systems without written permission
Account Registration
You may browse without an account, but certain features require registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities under your account.
Orders & Payments
Pricing
All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes (GST/HST/PST) are added at checkout based on shipping province.
Payment
We accept major credit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Payment must be received in full before production begins.
For bulk orders over $5,000 CAD, we may require a 50% deposit before starting production.
Custom Print Orders & Artwork
- File quality: You are responsible for providing print-ready artwork. We offer free file review and design assistance.
- Color accuracy: Slight color variations may occur due to monitor calibration and printing processes. Hardcopy proofs available on request.
- Proof approval: Once you approve a digital or physical proof, you accept responsibility for the final printed result.
- Spelling & grammar: We are not responsible for typos in customer-supplied files.
Intellectual Property
By submitting artwork to NT Printing, you represent that:
- You own all necessary rights to the content or have appropriate licenses
- The content does not infringe third-party trademarks, copyrights, or patents
- You grant NT Printing a limited license to use your content solely for fulfilling your order
NT Printing's website, branding, and original designs remain our intellectual property.
Production Time & Delivery
Standard production time is 48 hours after artwork approval. Rush service is available for an additional fee.
NT Printing is not responsible for shipping delays caused by Canada Post, courier services, customs, weather, or other factors beyond our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
Returns & Refunds
- Custom-printed items are non-refundable unless defective or printed incorrectly due to our error
- Stock items may be returned within 14 days in original, unused condition
- Defective orders: Contact us within 7 days with photos. We will reprint, replace, or refund at our discretion.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NT Printing's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order in question. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Personal Information
- Full name, email address
- Billing and shipping addresses
- Company name (for business orders)
- Payment information (processed securely by Shopify Payments and Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers)
Order & Artwork Data
- Order history, product preferences, custom artwork files you upload
- Communication history with our support team
Automatically Collected
- IP address, browser type, device information
- Pages visited, time spent, referring URL (via cookies and analytics)
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process and fulfill your orders
- Communicate about your orders, shipping, and customer support
- Send marketing emails (only if you opt in — easily unsubscribe anytime)
- Improve our website, products, and services
- Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized activity
- Comply with legal obligations
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers who help operate our business:
- Shopify Inc. — e-commerce platform and payment processing
- Canada Post / Couriers — order fulfillment and shipping
- Email providers (e.g., Klaviyo) — transactional and marketing emails

- Legal compliance — when required by law or to protect our rights
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission
- PCI-DSS compliant payment processing via Shopify
- Regular security audits and access controls
- Encrypted storage of sensitive customer data
While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no online transmission is 100% secure.
Your Rights (PIPEDA)
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

- Correct — request corrections to inaccurate information
- Delete — request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations)

Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy:
- Order data: 7 years (for tax and legal compliance)
- Account data: Until you request deletion
- Marketing data: Until you unsubscribe
- Artwork files: 12 months after last order, then archived or deleted
Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us to delete it.
International Transfers
Some service providers (like Shopify, hosted in Canada/USA, and Google Analytics) may process your data outside Canada. We ensure all transfers comply with PIPEDA and use providers with adequate data protection standards.
